July 22-23, 2016
St. Petersburg, Peterhof
Goal - introduce undergraduate students, graduate students and young researchers to the foundations and modern achievements in the field of solar energy conversion and storage.
The School audience will listen to the lectures of the well-known world-class scientists.
The topics of the lectures correspond to the main topics that will be discussed in the IPS-21 Conference sections. The main focus will be on considering the most promising processes and materials for solar energy conversion, such as production of “solar fuel” (hydrogen production and carbon dioxide reduction), photosynthesis, photoelectrochemical elements, uncluding perovskite solar cells and nanocomposite heterostructural photoactive materials.
Participants will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the “Nanophotonics” resource center in the SPbSU Research Park as well as the “Photoactive Nanocomposite Materials” laboratory in the Peterhof campus, who's main goal is to produce next-generation photoactive materials and develop their technological applications.
We invite all interested undergraduates, graduates and young researchers to take part in the “Photochemistry Under the Sun” School.
